In the past decade, healthcare economics has experienced profound and revolutionary changes, significantly impacting healthcare funding, delivery, and reception. These evolving economic conditions not only collectively influence project budgets and schedules but how they are designed, staffed, and owned. Key trends like liquidity, rising costs, labor challenges, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital are just some of the influences dramatically impacting healthcare design. These variables and assumptions have historically been hidden in business plans and financial models; not extrapolated into the built environment but things are changing… rapidly.

In this webinar, industry thought leaders will discuss the current situation and macro trends affecting the healthcare industry, helping you understand financial dynamics and potential challenges. You will also gain insights into the evolving healthcare fiscal policy and execution, its present direction, and implications for designers to collaborate with clients in crafting short- and long-term cost reduction strategies for the future.
