AMFP NYC Hosts First Annual Golf Outing

Published on 10/31/2022

The Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP) NYC Chapter hosted its annual Golf Classic & Clinic on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale, New York. This was the inaugural golf outing for the chapter that formed in 2020.

The event provided opportunity for networking while raising $15,000 for Play for P.I.N.K., an organization dedicated to giving people with breast cancer longer lives and better outcomes, by donating 100% of the funds raised to breast cancer research through supporting volunteers organizing sporting and lifestyle events to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

This year’s outing included a scramble format tournament and a golf clinic option followed by a cocktail reception and dinner where the program included a welcome from the Golf Committee Co-Chairs, Chapter President, and representative from Play for P.I.N.K., and announcing the on-course game winners and raffle prize winners. The highly anticipated event was attended by 185 leading professionals in the healthcare facilities, design and construction industry as well as AMFP NYC members, volunteers, and Chapter leadership.

“It was exciting to host this inaugural event for the chapter. We were fortunate the weather held out and all had a great time on and off the course. The Golf Committee did a tremendous job in putting this event together,” stated Andrew Weinberg, President of AMFP NYC Chapter and Director of Business Development at LF Driscoll Healthcare. Golf Committee Co-Chairs, Paola Tocci CEO + President of the Tocci Group Inc. and Frank D. Rudilosso Director Facilities Regulatory Readiness at New York-Presbyterian Hospital stated, “It was a super event, at a super venue and we look forward to making this a tradition and hosting many more chapter golf outings in years to come.”
