Published on 7/19/2022

Described by colleagues as a people connector and a strategic business development professional, Marcia Musico, has been appointed National Sponsorship Chair for the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP).

In this volunteer position, Musico is responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with companies in the healthcare-built industry to secure their financial sponsorship of AMFP at the national level.

According to Jeffrey S. Kent, AMFP’s national president, Musico’s depth and breadth of experience in healthcare with A/E/C companies made her a natural fit for this newly established position.

“In interviewing Marcia, I was intrigued that she had previously worked with or pursued business development opportunities with numerous AMFP board members and others in our organization,” said Kent. “Relationships in the healthcare-built industry are vital to establishing trust and support.”

Musico has worked nearly 30 years exclusively in business development for in the healthcare industry in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, as well as North Texas, Nashville and Chicago.

Kent said those interested in playing a role in the success and growth of AMFP should submit their online application here: https://form.jotform.com/213535560686057.

Launched in January 2019, the Association of Medical Facility Professionals is a professional member-based, non-profit organization for the healthcare-built environment with chapters in Central Florida, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, North Texas, Northern California, New York City, Philadelphia and the Upper Midwest. AMFP expects to launch new chapters this year in Atlanta, Boston and Washington, D.C.
