AMFP Names John Rogers National Treasurer

John W. Rogers, FAIA, FACHA, has been named AMFP’s national treasurer, succeeding Lily Salkoff who has been holding the dual role of treasurer for the national board and Central Florida chapter. His two-year term begins Oct. 1.

John is no stranger to the healthcare industry having worked as corporate architect for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for eight years beginning in 2010, and as a partner in charge of the healthcare division of GBBN Architects in Cincinnati, Lexington, Louisville and Beijing, China for 26 years beginning in 1984. Currently, he is an architectural consultant and medical planner for a variety of clients, writes articles and presents at conferences around the world, including the past 16 years in China where he continues to consult on healthcare projects.

He has been active in many organizations throughout his career including the American College of Healthcare Architects, of which he was a founding member and served as national treasurer from 2015 – 2017, president in 2019 and past president in 2020. John also has been involved with the American Institute of Architects for nearly 40 years and chaired the National Finance & Audit Committee from 2006 – 2009 and served as national treasurer in 2010 and 2011.
