Live Music by Trey Ackerman

Trey Ackerman is a Nashville-based songwriter and third-generation musician whose songs carry the grit of life and the grace of memory. Raised in a legendary musical family, Trey had his first cut at age 12 and later earned acclaim as both a drummer and a jazz guitarist before returning to his storytelling roots. His lyrics blend cinematic imagery with emotional truth—whether capturing a ghost’s longing in “The Call,” the ache of lost love in “Love Dies on the Vine,” or the freedom of letting go in “Along for the Ride.” A regular performer at songwriter venues around Nashville like the Bluebird Cafe, Trey’s voice and vision are rooted in legacy. His songs are lived-in, intimate, and built to last.
