His role in Gresham Smith’s innovation program capitalizes on his talent for marrying traditional engineering and architecture concepts with cutting-edge technological advances. Jason Daw & Matt Sorrow | BECI | Digital Double- A case study

Matt Sorrow | BECI
Matt Sorrow is BECI’s Nashville branch manager. Matt brings a PE and nearly a decade of hands-on construction experience to the table, with roots in skilled trades that go all the way back to his early teens working with his dad. What he values most about BECI is the unique balance it offers—staying connected to the field he loves while leading BECI’s work in fast-growing Nashville. Matt thrives in an environment where collaboration is key and coworkers feel like an extension of family, even across state lines. When he’s not on the job, you might find him perfecting a pot of homemade chili (especially on a rainy day), or out in the woods with his amazing wife, Abby, and his brand new daughter, Lillian Ruth Sorrow.

Jason Daw | BECI
Jason Daw leads BECI’s marketing and inside sales teams. Based in Nashville, he was previously the territory sales manager out of the Nashville branch. Jason is a recovering GC who enjoys using creativity to build systems and processes for BECI’s dynamic sales teams. He occasionally pries himself away from work to get out on the water with his lovely wife Katie and either a fishing rod, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard. He has yet to taste Matt’s alleged chili, and he is definitely bitter about that.
