How to Apply for your AMFP Chapter Program to Provide AIA Continuing Education Credit

To have your program approved for AIA Continuing Education credit through AMFP, follow these steps:

1. Complete the AMFP AIA Course Submission Form

  • Download the application form.
  • Provide:
    • Course Title
    • Learning Objectives (minimum of 4)
    • Course Description
    • Presenter Information
    • Duration (1 LU per 60 minutes)
    • Indicate if the course qualifies for HSW credit (must meet AIA’s 75% HSW content requirement).

2. Attach Supporting Materials

Include:

  • Presentation slides or outline
  • Any handouts or supplemental resources
  • Speaker bio(s)

3. Submit to AMFP

Email the completed form and materials to info@amfp.com at least 4 weeks prior to the scheduled program date.

4. AMFP Review & AIA Submission

  • AMFP will review your submission for compliance with AIA CES guidelines.
  • Once approved, AMFP will submit the course to AIA and confirm your program’s credit status.

5. Deliver the Program

  • Ensure the session is educational, not promotional.
  • Collect attendee information for reporting.

6. Reporting

AMFP will handle reporting to AIA for all attendees who provide their AIA member number.
