Inaugural AMFP Awards Program!
We are excited to launch the inaugural AMFP Awards Program, created to celebrate the members, chapters, and healthcare leaders that are shaping the future of the healthcare built environment.
These awards recognize outstanding leadership, innovation, collaboration, and impact across our national community - from emerging chapters and dedicated members to healthcare providers driving meaningful change for patients, communities, and the industry as a whole.
We look forward to highlighting the incredible work happening across AMFP and encourage all eligible members and chapters to submit their nominations and applications.
Submission Details
Award submissions open on August 7th, 2026 and close on August 31, 2026.
All submissions must be completed and submitted through the AMFP website by the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Following the close of submissions, the AMFP Awards Committee will review all entries and determine recipients. Award winners for select categories will be notified in advance of the Healthcare Design Conference (HCD), where the formal announcement and recognition will take place in October.
Rising Chapter Award
The Rising Chapter Award recognizes a newer AMFP chapter that has quickly established momentum, demonstrated strong leadership, and created meaningful early impact within the AMFP network. This award celebrates emerging chapters that are successfully building member engagement, developing sustainable operations, and expanding AMFP’s presence within their region.
AMFP Chapter of the Year Award
The AMFP Chapter of the Year Award recognizes a chapter that has demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, engagement, and alignment with AMFP’s national mission over the past year. This award celebrates chapters that are actively creating value for members, strengthening the healthcare built environment community, and contributing to the continued growth and success of AMFP.
The Jeff Kent Healthcare Provider Leadership Award
The Jeff Kent Healthcare Provider Leadership Award recognizes an AMFP healthcare provider member who has demonstrated transformational leadership and meaningful impact within their healthcare organization and the healthcare industry over the past year. This award honors healthcare end users who exemplify operational excellence, innovation, environmental stewardship, patient and community impact, and active involvement in initiatives that advance healthcare and the mission of AMFP. Named in honor of Jeff Kent, this award recognizes his foundational leadership and lasting contributions to the establishment and growth of AMFP.
Industry Impact Member Award
The Industry Impact Member Award recognizes an AMFP member who has made a meaningful and measurable impact on the healthcare built environment through active involvement in AMFP, volunteer leadership, innovation, and contributions to significant projects, initiatives, or industry advancement over the past year.
This award honors individuals whose engagement within AMFP and the broader healthcare industry reflects a commitment to advancing best practices, collaboration, and meaningful outcomes beyond their day-to-day professional role.
